It’s like that bad dream you keep having, where a man standing over you looks down at the blood on your hands and solemnly, he reaches behind him. He winces as he pulls out a knife from the centre of his back, and regrettably evidence stacked up against you suggests that you put it there. And as you rifle through a mental back catalogue of misdemeanours and double crosses you’re tearing out pages of written apologies you never intended to use you feel his hands around your sweat saturated neck. He mouths to you “retribution”. And that’s about the time that you wake up screaming: “Sorry.”
